Ingredients

Cake:

  • 1 ½ cups Oats
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ cup milk
  • ¼ cup melted butter
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ¾ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Milk:

  • ¾ cup milk
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup

Method

  1. In a large bowl, combine the oats, sugar, 1/2 cup of milk, melted butter, egg, salt, and vanilla extract together.
  2. Pour the mixture into a greased cake pan.
  3. Bake in the air fryer for 30 minutes at 150°C.
  4. When the cake is almost ready, heat the 3/4 cup of milk and syrup in a pan.
  5. When the cake is done, remove it from the air fryer and pour the milk over the cake while it is still in the cake pan.
  6. Serve immediately.

Tip: This is a high energy breakfast, best served before a big day like sports or a day of hiking.
