Ingredients
- 200 ml whole milk
- 200 ml liquid cream (30% fat)
- 60 g sugar
- 8 g corn starch
- 0.5 tsp vanilla powder
Method
- Mix the milk, liquid cream, sugar, and corn starch in a saucepan.
- Bring to a boil, whisking constantly, until the mixture thickens slightly.
- Remove from heat and add the vanilla. Leave to cool until warm.
- Pour the mixture into the Tefal Dolci bowl.
- Cover and place the bowl in the freezer for 24 h.
- Remove the bowl from the freezer and take off the cover.
- Insert the small bowl into the outer jar.
- Start the 'Gelato' program.
- Enjoy immediately.
Tips: If using fresh vanilla, infuse half a split and scraped vanilla pod in the hot milk and cream for 15 min.
